B. Applicability

These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all online orders placed via the Juwelen Piu webshop. Deviations are only binding if confirmed in writing.

C. Pre-contractual information

Product information, price, availability, shipping and payment terms are clearly stated on the product page and during the ordering process.
All prices are in euros (€) and include Belgian VAT, unless otherwise stated. Any shipping costs and additional charges will be mentioned before payment.

D. Ordering and formation of the agreement

An order is placed via the ordering process; you will receive an order confirmation by email. The purchase agreement is concluded upon our order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse orders (e.g., incorrect price listing, suspicion of fraud).

E. Payment

Payment is made via the payment methods offered in the webshop (including Stripe). Payment must be made as indicated; in the event of non-payment, we reserve all rights.
The goods sold remain our property until full payment has been received.

F. Delivery

Delivery takes place at the delivery address provided by the customer. The target delivery period is stated with the product; if this is exceeded, we will inform the customer and offer the customer the possibility to cancel and receive a refund.

Delivery costs and delivery options are stated during the ordering process.

G. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade or professional activity) have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

The period begins upon receipt of the product; in the case of multiple products, upon receipt of the last product delivered.

You can report a withdrawal via info@juwelenpiu.be or using the model form below within the specified period.

In the event of withdrawal, we will reimburse the amounts paid within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice or after receiving the returned goods. Return costs are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise indicated.

The consumer is liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to, among other things:

custom-made or clearly personalized jewelry;

sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken;

other legally excluded products (adjust if necessary).

H. Warranty and conformity

Legal warranty of conformity of at least 2 years for consumers. Defects should be reported via info@juwelenpiu.be.

Commercial warranties are stated separately where applicable.

I. Return procedures

Returns should be well-packaged and, if possible, in the original packaging. Include a copy of the invoice and the reason for the return.

Return address: Bredabaan 307, 2930 Brasschaat. For valuable goods, we recommend registered or insured shipping.

J. Liability

Our liability for contractual shortcomings is limited to the purchase amount, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Stricter mandatory rules apply to consumers.

K. Payment and transaction security

Payment transactions via Stripe. Transactions take place via secure connections; we do not store full card details.

L. Personal data

Processing of personal data takes place in accordance with our Privacy and Cookie Policy. Questions or requests: info@juwelenpiu.be.

M. Complaints and disputes

Complaints should be directed to info@juwelenpiu.be; we aim to respond within 14 days.

Consumers can also submit complaints to the EU ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ or to Belgian authorities where applicable.

Applicable law: Belgian law, subject to mandatory legal rules.

N. Force majeure

Force majeure suspends obligations; if force majeure lasts longer than 30 days, either party may terminate the agreement without liability.

O. Electronic communication and language

The contractual message and general terms and conditions are drawn up in Dutch. Communication by email is legally valid.
